Description:

  • This role involves designing software that leverages principles of superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates.
  • The developer will create and optimize quantum algorithms and applications that push computational boundaries.
  • Responsibilities include developing and optimizing algorithms for quantum applications in cryptography, optimization, and quantum machine learning.
  • The developer will write and optimize quantum code using programming languages like Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#.
  • Collaboration on hybrid classical-quantum systems is essential, integrating both computing paradigms.
  • Testing and simulating quantum software using quantum simulators to validate functionality and debug issues is required.
  • The developer will contribute to quantum software frameworks, creating libraries and tools for other developers and researchers.
  • Staying updated on quantum computing trends and incorporating advancements into work is crucial.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including quantum physicists, hardware engineers, and data scientists, is necessary to align software with quantum hardware capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, Q#, or similar frameworks is required.
  • A strong knowledge of quantum computing principles, including qubits, gates, entanglement, and superposition, is essential.
  • Programming expertise in classical languages like Python, C++, or Java is necessary for developing hybrid quantum-classical systems.
  • Experience with quantum hardware and simulators, including platforms like IBM Quantum, Google’s Sycamore, or Rigetti’s systems, is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to translate complex computational problems into quantum algorithms are needed.
  • A Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in quantum software development considered.
  • Publications or research in quantum computing or a related field are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year focused on quantum computing, is required.
  • A proven track record of developing quantum algorithms or applications, with a portfolio of projects or publications, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with optimization problems, cryptography, or quantum-enhanced machine learning is a plus.
