Description:
You will drive the development and maintenance of the documentation platform that powers all MUI products.
The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the UTC-5 to UTC+2 time zones.
This is a full-time role, which can be either a contractor or employee depending on circumstances.
The role is classified as IC3 or above, with high growth potential.

The documentation is critical to the overall experience of MUI's products, and users expect the documentation to be best in class.
As the first full-time React engineer for the Docs-infra team, you will develop new features and infrastructure-related tasks to enhance documentation generation and consumption.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and iterate on new features.
Day-to-day tasks will include internal configuration improvements and user-facing feature implementation.
You will play a fundamental role in defining the Docs-infra roadmap and priorities.
Requirements:
You must be comfortable with the modern JavaScript ecosystem, including React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Webpack, and Babel.
You should be energized to dive into complex problems and excited about helping engineers and designers build amazing UIs.
Empathy and good product/design sensibility are essential.
Strong written and spoken English skills are required.
Nice to have skills include strong product/design skills, experience in open-source, experience with design systems, and familiarity with MUI products.
