Remote React JS Developer

Description:

• ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a React JS Developer, which is a 100% remote position.
• This role is starting as a contract position running through December 2025, with strong potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.

• The job requires experience with Java and migrating a Java app to React, as well as working directly with application users to troubleshoot issues.
• Additional experience with Python is also required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 3+ years of related work experience and professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency in more than one object-oriented programming language, including React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and HTML, is necessary.
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, documentation protocol, and change management procedures is required.
• Candidates should demonstrate organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, and be flexible team players.
• The ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and communicate technical information clearly is essential.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility is required.
• Knowledge of database systems, particularly MongoDB, is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern web/UI development tools and techniques, such as Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, and Jest, is necessary.
• Candidates should have solid knowledge of DOM manipulation, client-side validation, and jQuery.
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions consistent with business objectives are required.
• Experience with responsive grid systems and knowledge of React and Redux principles is essential.
