Description:

Nivoda is seeking a React Native Engineer to join their remote-first team, dedicated to empowering jewelry retailers and gemstone suppliers.
The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and engineers to architect, develop, and launch innovative products for the online jewelry industry.
Responsibilities include driving the expansion of Nivoda's category offerings on their hybrid mobile app, collaborating with senior engineers to prioritize customer requirements, and designing high-performance features.
The engineer will ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proficiency in JavaScript, React Native, Expo, and their core principles, with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in TypeScript and state management libraries like Zustand or Redux is required.
Strong knowledge of integrating third-party libraries and APIs, as well as working with database schemas and queries, is essential.
Familiarity with build tools like EAS, native tools like XCode & Android Studio (Gradle), and automated testing suites like Jest or Cypress is necessary.
A basic understanding of GraphQL APIs, micro-frontend & microservices architecture, and distributed systems is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities are required for effective collaboration within the engineering team.
Experience with native mobile application development and AWS Cloud Platform is a bonus.
A B.S., M.S., or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology is required.
