Description:

Nivoda is seeking a React Native Engineer to join their remote team operating in the European timezone.
The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and engineers to architect, develop, and launch innovative products in the online jewelry industry.
The engineer will drive the expansion of Nivoda's category offerings on their hybrid mobile app.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance customer-centric features, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proficiency in JavaScript, React Native, Expo, and their core principles, with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in TypeScript and state management libraries like Zustand or Redux is required.
Strong knowledge of integrating third-party libraries and APIs, as well as working with database schemas and queries, is necessary.
Familiarity with build tools like EAS, and native tools like XCode & Android Studio (Gradle) is essential.
Experience with automated testing suites like Jest or Cypress is required.
A basic understanding of GraphQL APIs, micro-frontend & microservices architecture, and distributed systems is needed.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the engineering team.
Experience with native mobile application development and AWS Cloud Platform is a bonus.
A B.S., M.S., or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology is required.
