Justlife is seeking a React Native Engineer to join their Engineering department and contribute to the development of their home services app.
The role involves collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop solutions.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining new features while managing the existing codebase.
The engineer will deliver high-quality code within set deadlines, ensuring clean and maintainable solutions.
The position requires expanding and maintaining comprehensive unit tests and increasing code coverage.
The engineer will optimize app performance to create smooth and responsive mobile experiences.
Staying updated with the latest trends and innovations in mobile app development is essential.
Participation in the on-call rota is expected.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native development is required.
Bonus skills include experience with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Java, Android SDK, and iOS SDK.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Redux, and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
Experience using Git for source control is required.
The candidate should have experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g., Detox or Maestro).
The ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions is essential.
A solid understanding of SOLID principles and best coding practices is required.
A proactive, self-driven approach, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, is necessary.
