Description:

  • The Real Estate Data Analyst Lead will work closely with the Acquisitions Manager to support the execution of the firm’s investment strategy.
  • This role involves sourcing, analyzing, and acquiring commercial and multi-family real estate properties.
  • Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with brokers and property owners to identify acquisition opportunities.
  • Conducting in-depth market research and financial modeling to assess potential investments is essential.
  • The analyst will gather and evaluate property, market, and financial data to support the due diligence process.
  • Creating detailed reports, memos, and presentations to communicate investment recommendations is required.
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is necessary to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  • The analyst will maintain accurate records of acquisition activities, market trends, and financial performance.
  • Participation in special projects aimed at refining investment strategies and improving processes is expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, with prior exposure to CRE being required.
  • A strong understanding of financial modeling concepts such as discounted cash flow (DCF), pro forma analysis, variance analysis, and return metrics is necessary.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and research skills to evaluate market trends, property data, and financial performance.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple projects and ensure data accuracy.
  • The role requires an independent contributor who is comfortable in a hands-on analytical position with no management responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. real estate market is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge or familiarity in the real estate investment industry is beneficial.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including the ability to build models from scratch, are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in preparing investment memos and presenting findings to stakeholders is a nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard CRE tools and financial analysis software is preferred.
