Description:
Lead and mentor the IT Reconciliation team in day-to-day activities, goal setting, and performance reviews.
Guide the design and implementation of successful reconciliation solutions.
Scale various reconciliation services.
Design and implement complex workflows and APIs for the reconciliation platform.
Implement complex reconciliation processes for payment platforms from the database perspective.
Support all aspects of the reconciliation lifecycle, including rules, mappings, and importation logic.
Develop and validate business requirements for entities and data reconciliation.
Collaborate with Product to understand the business opportunities addressed by features.
Review and improve Reconciliation processes and documentation.
Work with a modern, web-based reconciliation platform.
Operate in a cloud-based environment (AWS).
Requirements:
10+ years in Engineering roles working with databases, proficient in at least one programming language and a database engine.
2+ years in a similar team management role with a strong technical focus.
Strong SQL knowledge and database skills.
Experience with SQL Server (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle also acceptable).
Familiarity with HTTP, (S)FTP, SSL, and other protocols.
Experience with public clouds like AWS, GCP, Azure.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Enthusiastic, hard-working, and motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
Considered an advantage:
Hands-on experience with dynamic programming languages (Ruby, Python, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Linux, Terraform.
Previous experience in the payment industry.
