The team works hybrid or remotely from various cities across Bulgaria.
The role is for an experienced Java Software Engineer in a service-oriented or microservices architecture.
Responsibilities include developing new features for high transaction, large scale websites and services using Java, participating in design and code review processes, and writing clean, reusable code.
The position requires organizing and prioritizing work effectively to ensure timely project delivery and maintaining testable code.

Requirements:

A proven track record of successfully completed projects in Enterprise Java Software Development within a service-oriented or microservice architecture is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in back-end programming and related frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs is necessary.
Experience with Relational Databases, specifically PostgreSQL, is required.
Familiarity with message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka is essential.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS is an advantage.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins/Bamboo and GitLab, is required.
Experience with reactive programming using Vert.x or similar is a plus.
Proficiency in Version Control Systems, specifically Bitbucket and GIT, is necessary.
Candidates should have practical knowledge of containers, particularly Docker, ideally with Kubernetes expertise.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well both collaboratively and independently are essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant professional experience is required.
Strong communication skills in both English and Bulgarian are necessary, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
