Description:

  • MentorMate is seeking a Python/Django Developer to join an innovative project for a leading global tire manufacturer.
  • The role involves developing and maintaining software solutions across all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable and efficient back-end systems, collaborating with front-end developers, optimizing database performance, debugging complex technical issues, and writing clean, maintainable code.
  • The developer will participate in code reviews and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • The position is remote and part of a global technology company, Tietoevry Create, which offers a friendly and people-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, Git, HTTP communication, PostgreSQL, and Docker is required.
  • Experience with Celery, Kafka, and AWS services (S3, SQS, MSK, ECS, RDS) is necessary.
  • Applicants should have experience interacting with APIs and integrating external services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand customer and business needs are essential.
  • Familiarity with server, network, and hosting environments, as well as relational and non-relational databases, is required.
  • Awareness of security concerns in software development is important.
  • Candidates must be able to meet tight deadlines and provide accurate time estimates.
  • A willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies is expected.
