Description:

Stack Builders is a US software consultancy based in New York, Quito, and Madrid, seeking an experienced AI Software Developer to join their remote team.
The role requires hands-on expertise with Amazon Bedrock and excellent communication skills.
The developer will work directly with the client’s product and engineering teams to design, build, and scale AI-powered applications in the canine genetic testing industry.

Requirements:

Candidates must be able to work as a contractor, preferably in Canada, Colombia, Brazil, or Argentina.
For US applicants, the ability to work as an independent contractor under an LLC, C-Corp, or S-Corp is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a field relevant to the role is necessary.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in software development.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and proven ability to build and deploy applications using foundation models is essential.
Strong development skills in Python, TypeScript, Node.js, React, or similar languages are preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Candidates must have time zone overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
The ability to work independently and collaboratively is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS services beyond Bedrock, experience in prompt engineering or fine-tuning foundation models, and experience in software consulting or client-facing development roles are considered nice-to-have.
