Description:

  • As a Frontend Platform Engineer, you will join a team that designs, builds, evolves, and maintains the foundational frontend ecosystem at Intuit.
  • Your decisions will significantly impact Intuit and the productivity of our engineers.
  • The AppFabric team aims to enhance the platform's capabilities and invest in innovation and cutting-edge technologies.
  • You will develop next-generation UI platform capabilities that power Intuit customer experiences across products like QuickBooks and TurboTax.
  • You will work on a specific project critical to Intuit, displaying leadership qualities and enthusiasm for tackling new problems.
  • Your role will involve managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Requirements:

  • A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience is required.
  • You must have 6+ years of experience in developing front-end applications and frameworks using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, module systems, bundling, closures, types, and ES6.
  • A solid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React is required.
  • You should have a thorough understanding of REST principles and best practices for building and using RESTful APIs.
  • A thorough understanding of core design principles and common design patterns of JavaScript is essential.
  • Familiarity and experience with common web compilation and bundling frameworks, including Webpack, Rollup, and Babel, are required.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Playwright and Cypress is necessary.
  • A working knowledge of agile practices and principles is required.
  • A working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP) is necessary.
