Description:
As a Frontend Platform Engineer, you will join a team that designs, builds, evolves, and maintains the foundational frontend ecosystem at Intuit.
Your decisions will significantly impact Intuit and the productivity of our engineers.
The AppFabric team aims to enhance the platform's capabilities and invest in innovation and cutting-edge technologies.
You will develop next-generation UI platform capabilities that power Intuit customer experiences across products like QuickBooks and TurboTax.
You will work on a specific project critical to Intuit, displaying leadership qualities and enthusiasm for tackling new problems.
Your role will involve managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
Requirements:
A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience is required.
You must have 6+ years of experience in developing front-end applications and frameworks using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, module systems, bundling, closures, types, and ES6.
A solid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON is necessary.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React is required.
You should have a thorough understanding of REST principles and best practices for building and using RESTful APIs.
A thorough understanding of core design principles and common design patterns of JavaScript is essential.
Familiarity and experience with common web compilation and bundling frameworks, including Webpack, Rollup, and Babel, are required.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Playwright and Cypress is necessary.
A working knowledge of agile practices and principles is required.
A working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP) is necessary.
