Description:
RareCircles is seeking a Back-end Developer to work remotely, focusing on building systems for independent retailers across North America.
The role involves researching, designing, and developing upstream services using the latest back-end technologies.
Responsibilities include evaluating new tools and technologies, maintaining and extending existing services, scaling cloud infrastructure, and promoting best practices within the team.
The position requires full-time work during Eastern Standard Time hours.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in building highly optimized back-end solutions using Golang, Protobuf, gRPC, and GraphQL.
A minimum of 2 years of experience managing resources in Google Cloud Platform using Terraform IAC or similar is required, along with experience managing a Kubernetes cluster.
Experience in building back-end APIs and integrations with CRMs such as Zapier, Quickbooks, Hubspot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive is essential.
Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures is necessary.
Candidates should have a strong background in writing reliable, performant, maintainable, and testable code with proper abstraction.
Experience in building communication and telephony products, such as Twilio API, Email/SMTP, SMS, and VoIP, is a plus.
A collaborative spirit and effective teamwork skills are required.
Proficiency in English with good writing and communication skills is necessary.
Candidates must be willing to work in the Eastern Standard North American time zone.
