Engineer Up is seeking a Remote LATAM Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full stack applications.
Candidates will work with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, MySQL, AngularJS, Next.js, React, and AWS.
Responsibilities include participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system design.
The developer will collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to conceptualize new features.
Building reusable code and libraries for future use is essential.
The role requires ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Adherence to security and data protection standards is mandatory.
Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends is expected.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, is required.
Detailed experience with AngularJS, Next.js, and React is a must.
A good understanding of Node.js and its frameworks is necessary.
Knowledge of SQL databases, specifically MySQL, and crafting stored procedures is essential.
Experience with AWS cloud services is required.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is necessary.
Experience with continuous integration is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in full stack development.
Demonstrable ability to build complex web applications is essential.
Strong organizational and project management skills are required.
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include in-depth knowledge of Elixir and familiarity with payment processing systems or financial services applications.
