Remote Remote Mitel System Engineer / VoIP Engineer | (EST/CST) (Full-Time or Contract)

Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Engineer to maintain, manage, and support telecom client infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our phone systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing upgrades and configurations as needed.
• This position is remote, and candidates must be able to work in the EST or CST Time Zone.
• The role can be either full-time or contract.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Proven experience managing Mitel phone systems is essential.
• A strong understanding of VoIP technologies and telephony protocols, such as SIP and H.323, is necessary.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, QoS, and firewall configurations, is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a must.
