The Credit Pros is seeking a Principal Full-stack Developer for a 100% full-time remote opportunity.
The role involves designing and owning the full lifecycle of solutions using PHP, Python, Laravel, and React.
Responsibilities include application development and architecture, API development and integration, workflow automation, and system integration.
The developer will engage with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into actionable tasks.
Application security is a priority, with a focus on implementing best practices and identifying vulnerabilities.
The position requires leadership and mentorship of junior team members, leading code reviews, and being a problem solver.
The developer will ensure responsible use of AWS services and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient development-to-deployment flow.
The role includes managing release processes, ensuring stability and security of deployments, and integrating AI solutions into workflows.
Adherence to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and championing development standards is essential.

Requirements:

Proficiency in PHP, Python, Laravel, and React is required, with a willingness to grow in all areas.
Excellent knowledge of API frameworks (REST, GraphQL) and secure API development is necessary.
A deep understanding of application security principles and best practices is essential.
Strong experience in building and consuming APIs across distributed systems is required.
Familiarity with workflow automation tools like n8n, Pipedream, or Zapier is needed.
Knowledge of database design, data mapping, and schema building is important.
Solid grasp of CI/CD, version control (Git), and DevOps principles is required.
Experience optimizing cost and performance on AWS infrastructure is necessary.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack or software development roles is necessary.
Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity is a plus.
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Lean development environments is preferred.

The base salary ranges from USD $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
