Description:

The position is for a Remote Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for building and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS with a code-first mindset.
The engineer will implement data storage solutions such as S3, ERDS, and NoSQL databases.
Automating workflows using orchestration systems like Airflow and Oozie is a key responsibility.
The role includes building monitoring and observability dashboards.
The engineer will be involved in cost optimization and management of the cloud infrastructure.
Enforcing security by creating and maintaining users and roles, assigning privileges, and establishing procedures to ensure data integrity and availability is essential.
The engineer will perform on-call duties to ensure the infrastructure is operational 24/7.
Setting up and maintaining documentation and standards is also part of the job.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in DevOps with strong expertise in Terraform scripting.
A good level of expertise in AWS is required.
Knowledge of IAM and networking security, EC2, network and storage setup, and S3 policy implementation is necessary.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in writing Terraform scripts, not just maintaining or applying existing scripts.
It is essential to clearly mention Terraform scripting hands-on experience in the CV.
Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins is required.
Candidates should have good hands-on experience in writing Python or Bash scripts.
While Big Data skills are not mandatory, a basic understanding will be beneficial.
