Description:

The position is for a Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in Node.js and AWS.
This is a remote, contracted role with a duration of 8 months.
The client is in the higher education sector.
The candidate must have strong technical skills in AppSync, AWS Dynamo, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS SNS/SQS, CDK/Cloud Formation, JavaScript (ES6), Node.js, React.js, and test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Mocha, or WebDriver.

Requirements:

A BA/BS degree is required, preferably in an analytical field.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of work-related experience.
Advanced experience with Node.js in an AWS environment is necessary.
Intermediate experience with React and relational databases like PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB is required.
The candidate should have experience implementing serverless applications on AWS.
Hands-on development experience in a highly scaled environment is essential.
Experience working on Agile engineering teams is required.
