  • As a Research Data Engineer, you will bridge the gap between research methodology and engineering implementation.
  • You will transform data collected from apps, wearable devices, EHR integrations, and other digital health sources into research-ready datasets.
  • Your work will empower researchers and data scientists to derive meaningful insights that improve health outcomes at scale.

  • Responsibilities include data modeling and transformation, ETL and pipeline development, research support, data visualization and insights, documentation and quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, or Data Science, or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • A proven track record of handling health/clinical datasets and supporting research analysis is necessary.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in creating ETL pipelines and implementing data modeling best practices, is essential.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, and version control systems such as Git is required.
  • Experience with BI tools and data visualization methods is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • A passion for advancing digital health research and improving population health outcomes is essential.
