Remote Research Intern - AI Start-up

Description:

• The Research Internship is a part-time position focused on teaching and validating an AI engine, with no programming, engineering, coding, or development opportunities involved.
• The internship requires a commitment of at least 15-20 hours per week.
• The role involves working with a new Software Startup company that aims to train AI to interact with humans in innovative ways.
• Interns will help the AI learn to collaborate with humans by interacting with various software tools.
• The internship lasts for 3 months, roughly from April 1st to July 1st, with the possibility of extension.
• Interns will gain skills in AI, data analytics, and exposure to software development processes and User Centric design.
• Responsibilities include working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, executing Use Case scenarios across different software programs, collecting and analyzing data on AI performance, and learning new software programs on the job.

Requirements:

• Candidates must reside in one of the specified states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, ME, MI, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
• Candidates should have technical aptitude in one or more of the following: Spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets), Email/calendar (e.g., Outlook, Gmail), Reporting/BI (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Candidates must be pursuing a degree or have recently graduated in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Cognitive Science, or any AI-related field.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to learn on the job.
• Candidates must have the ability to assist in system troubleshooting and resolution.
• Candidates should exemplify a high level of accountability, transparency, and teamwork, demonstrating the quality of doing "whatever it takes."
