Remote Research/Data Analyst Senior at Apex Informatics

Description:

Perform complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
Identify trends, discrepancies, and variances to enhance operational efficiency.
Partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors to address business issues.
Administer or provide high-level support for projects, grants, contracts, and specialized functions.
Assist in training and guiding junior team members.
Provide strategic analysis.
Extract primary data from Oracle Database using SQL.
Interpret data, analyze results, and generate ongoing reports.
Clean and compile data for research projects.
Analyze trends and patterns in complex data sets.
Oversee evaluation and research projects.
Collaborate with external research partners.
Develop and monitor data requests.
Summarize research findings and prepare them for publication.
Create data visualization dashboards using Tableau.

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
Two years in a related lead or supervisory role OR Associate's degree in a related field and four years of related experience, two of which in a lead or supervisory role OR two years of experience at the lower level IT Business Analyst or equivalent.
Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages, databases, and programming.
Significant experience in accessing and extracting data from databases.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
2+ years of relevant work experience in Criminal Justice or Data Management/Analysis.
Proficient in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
Experience in data visualization software like Tableau.
