Description:

As a Resident Solutions Architect (Infrastructure), you will join the field team to deliver world-class technical solutions to customer and prospect business problems.
You will implement Astronomer’s software and services in the core of some of the world’s largest businesses and organizations.
You will guide our largest and most complex customers in their Apache Airflow journeys.
You will act as the core interface between the Customer, Sales, and Product to ensure that the broader solution around the platform is solving pain points and bringing value to customers.
The role involves exposure to a wide range of use cases where Apache Airflow sits at the center of the solution.

Requirements:

You must have strong Kubernetes experience (GKE/EKS/AKS or OpenShift preferred).
You should have expertise in at least one programming language.
A good understanding of network complexities and architectures is required.
You need to be a versatile Terminal and CLI user, as this will be a hands-on role, frequently without access to a GUI.
Experience setting up and troubleshooting distributed systems is necessary.
You should have experience with complex SaaS infrastructure operating at scale.
Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider API/tooling is required.
You must be able to read code and work effectively with git.
Cloud-native data architecture experience is essential.
Strong customer-facing skills are required.
You should possess strong oral and written communication skills, able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical individuals succinctly.

The estimated total compensation for this role ranges from $170,000 - $200,000, along with an equity component.
This compensation range is an estimate and reflects the willingness to consider candidates with broad prior seniority.
Actual compensation may deviate from this range based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
