Description:

  • The Robotics Software Developer (The Code Conductor) will design, develop, and test software that enables robotic systems to perform complex tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • This role involves working closely with robotics engineers and control system experts to build and refine software solutions for autonomous systems.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining robotics software, programming autonomous navigation and pathfinding algorithms, integrating sensors and real-time data processing, testing, debugging, and optimizing robotics software, collaborating on system architecture and design, using robotics frameworks and tools, and documenting code and processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have proficiency in robotics programming, with strong knowledge of programming languages like C++, Python, or Java, and experience in robotic control and software development.
  • Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS, OpenCV, or other robotics libraries is required to facilitate software development and sensor integration.
  • The ability to develop and optimize algorithms for navigation, pathfinding, and object detection is essential.
  • Experience in working with real-time sensor data and implementing processing algorithms for autonomous decision-making is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging code, analyzing system performance, and implementing improvements are required.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in robotics software development considered.
  • Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in robotics software development, with a proven record of developing and deploying robotic software solutions.
  • Experience in simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, MATLAB) and familiarity with robotic operating systems is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and AI techniques for robotics is a plus.
