Description:
The Robotics Software Developer (The Code Conductor) will design, develop, and test software that enables robotic systems to perform complex tasks with precision and efficiency.
This role involves working closely with robotics engineers and control system experts to build and refine software solutions for autonomous systems.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining robotics software, programming autonomous navigation and pathfinding algorithms, integrating sensors and real-time data processing, testing, debugging, and optimizing robotics software, collaborating on system architecture and design, using robotics frameworks and tools, and documenting code and processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proficiency in robotics programming, with strong knowledge of programming languages like C++, Python, or Java, and experience in robotic control and software development.
Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS, OpenCV, or other robotics libraries is required to facilitate software development and sensor integration.
The ability to develop and optimize algorithms for navigation, pathfinding, and object detection is essential.
Experience in working with real-time sensor data and implementing processing algorithms for autonomous decision-making is necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging code, analyzing system performance, and implementing improvements are required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in robotics software development considered.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in robotics software development, with a proven record of developing and deploying robotic software solutions.
Experience in simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, MATLAB) and familiarity with robotic operating systems is beneficial.
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and AI techniques for robotics is a plus.
