Description:
Join the dedicated QA Automation team working on a high-impact project for a UK-based client.
Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on innovation and quality.
Play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.
Design, develop, rewrite, and execute automated tests using C# and Playwright.
Dedicate 80% of your time to test automation, deepening your expertise and shaping future testing practices.
Create UI tests by translating existing manual test scripts into automated UI tests using C# and Playwright.
Review and rewrite the current C# + Selenium test suite into the C# + Playwright framework for better performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Develop, modify, and extend the existing C# + Playwright automation framework to meet evolving project needs.
Create and maintain automated API tests to validate backend services' integration and functionality.
Collaborate with the QA team, developers, and stakeholders to understand testing requirements and contribute to test strategy development.
Identify opportunities to optimize the testing process and improve test automation efficiency across the team.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
Strong proficiency in C# and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and good programming practices.
Basic knowledge of the Playwright framework for test automation.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, NUnit, and Jira for test execution, reporting, and task management.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline practices and integrating test automation into the software delivery lifecycle.
Solid understanding of QA development techniques and industry best practices.
Proven ability to work on UI testing automation.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take responsibility for the quality and completeness of the testing process.
Demonstrated Agile mindset with experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English at a minimum B2 level.
Commercial experience with the Playwright framework is considered an advantage.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Open-minded and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Strong communicative skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
