Remote [RPG] Test Automation Engineer (C# + Selenium/Playwright)

Description:

• Join the dedicated QA Automation team at Software Mind working on a high-impact project for a UK-based client.
• Translate manual test scripts into automated UI tests using C# and Playwright.
• Refactor the current C# + Selenium test suite into the C# + Playwright framework for better performance and scalability.
• Develop and extend the existing C# + Playwright automation framework.
• Create and maintain automated API tests for backend services.
• Collaborate with QA team, developers, and stakeholders to understand testing requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and improve test automation efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Proficiency in C# with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Basic knowledge of the Playwright framework for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, NUnit, and Jira.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline practices.
• Solid understanding of QA development techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work on UI testing automation.
• Agile mindset with experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Effective communication skills in English at a minimum B2 level.
• Additional skills: Commercial experience with Playwright framework, willingness to learn new tools, proactive problem-solving approach, strong collaboration skills.
