Remote R/Shiny Developer

• The R/Shiny Developer will be responsible for building advanced Shiny apps for large customers.
• The role involves understanding the limitations of R and Shiny and proposing solutions to overcome them.
• The developer will scale Shiny applications to handle thousands of concurrent users and contribute to performance optimization.
• Responsibilities include implementing visually impressive apps independently from a Graphic Designer and extending Shiny apps with advanced functionalities.
• The developer will ensure high-quality solutions through a well-balanced test pyramid.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience in building web applications or websites using R/Shiny, JavaScript, or Python.
• The ability to implement visually attractive apps based on input from a UX/UI Designer is required.
• Experience in using unit testing to improve code structure and automating other tests such as end-to-end or performance tests is necessary.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English is essential.
• Applicants must have a valid passport (if based outside of Poland) or ID (if based in Poland).
• Candidates must be located in EMEA or LATAM.

• The position offers a salary ranging from 7000 to 22,000 PLN/month + VAT on a B2B contract, equivalent to approximately $1600 to $4900/month.
