Description:

Keyloop is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to maintain and enhance the Vehicle Hub software as a service platform.
The role involves close collaboration with the Engineering and Product teams to develop the full software stack.
Responsibilities include enhancing, refactoring, and maintaining the existing platform, determining suitable approaches for identified problem spaces, and ensuring solutions meet acceptance criteria.
The developer will implement effective test coverage, conduct code reviews, and manage development tasks from assignment to release.
Ongoing support to clients and the company is required to preserve the platform's value, including answering technical queries and identifying enhancement opportunities.
The role also involves contributing to the operations and maintenance of the platform, updating software dependencies, enhancing test coverage, and monitoring infrastructure performance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience developing with Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework.
Proficiency in the RSpec automated test framework, JavaScript (native and jQuery), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preprocessors (HAML/SASS/SCSS) is required.
Experience in maintaining and operating a production Ruby on Rails SaaS application and working in a collaborative development team is essential.
Familiarity with agile development environments, source code management (Git and GitHub), and implementing scalable REST APIs using Ruby on Rails is necessary.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical, especially in a primarily remote role.
Candidates must be fluent in English and able to deal with people professionally and courteously.
