Remote Ruby on Rails Developer

Description:

• Work remotely as a senior Ruby on Rails developer for a U.S. based company.
• Collaborate with small teams to develop products using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Apply Agile methodologies to software development processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and occasionally lead small teams.
• Participate in pair programming sessions, design tasks, and team meetings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in the software development industry.
• At least 3 years of coding experience with Ruby and familiarity with JavaScript.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers, work on abstract development, and product development from documents.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong written and spoken English skills (90% English Level).
