Description:
- The Ruby on Rails Engineer will join a client's development team at Pavago to enhance software solutions by maintaining and extending the existing codebase, implementing new features, and ensuring infrastructure stability and scalability.
- Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives, maintaining the Ruby on Rails codebase, implementing front-end UIs, managing technical infrastructure, developing system integrations, implementing automated tests, and providing mentorship to junior team members.
- The ideal candidate will work on front-end UI implementations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer with a strong understanding of software development best practices.
- Full-stack capabilities with proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with AWS services, Docker, and DevOps practices is a plus.
