Remote Ruby on Rails Engineer

Description:

• Architect and build services for a coaching platform using Ruby on Rails
• Passionate about large-scale systems and producing clean, elegant, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with a team to find better solutions
• Experience with performance, scalability, and reliability of commercial services
• Stack includes Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and RabbitMQ
• Full support in learning all technologies in the stack

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Information Systems, or related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role
• Develop APIs for mobile apps, web UIs, and data ingestion applications
• Proficient in Ruby on Rails and strong SQL skills
• Enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
• Write robust code and conduct automated tests
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, Data Engineering, and QA teams
