Remote Salesforce APEX Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Apex Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity.
• In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Visualforce.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that enhance our Salesforce environment.
• Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing customized applications and features on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• You will build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Analyzing and resolving technical issues related to Salesforce applications is essential to ensure high availability and performance of the platform.
• Conducting code reviews, unit testing, and ensuring adherence to best practices in coding standards and design patterns is required.
• You will create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and deployment plans.
• Collaboration with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle is expected.
• Staying current with Salesforce technologies and best practices to recommend enhancements that improve system functionality and user experience is important.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• You must have 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development with a strong focus on Apex programming.
• Proficiency in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning components is necessary.
• Experience with Salesforce integration techniques using REST/SOAP APIs is required.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) is essential.
• Salesforce Developer Certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as JavaScript or Java is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Change Sets, Ant Migration Tool) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment are necessary.
