Description:
Braze is seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to enhance their Salesforce Platform and improve DevOps practices.
The role involves managing and configuring the Gearset platform to meet team needs and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include overseeing Salesforce releases, collaborating with various teams, and developing security practices to protect data and integration integrity.
The successful candidate will evaluate and refine tools and processes to promote self-sufficiency among teams and foster innovation.
The position requires collaboration with development teams and vendors to automate and streamline processes using Gearset.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps or Engineering.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling, specifically in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools like Gearset, Copado, or Flosum is required.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and knowledge of branching and merging strategies is necessary.
Candidates should have experience managing multiple Salesforce environments and sandboxes, including data seeding and data masking.
A proven track record of managing Salesforce releases, including metadata and data migrations, is essential.
Extensive experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs, is required.
Strong Apex scripting skills to automate tasks in the DevOps pipeline are necessary.
Experience in Agile development environments and participation in Agile ceremonies is preferred.
Candidates should have experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Understanding of Salesforce security best practices, SOX, and IT General Controls for implementations and change management is required.
Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications and advanced knowledge of Salesforce Shield and Event Monitoring.
