Description:
The role is for a Salesforce DevOps/Release Engineer at Expedite Commerce, requiring a smart, talented, and personable individual with a passion for innovation and automation.
The candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the resilience and security of Salesforce-based applications.
Responsibilities include overseeing the entire Salesforce release process using Copado CI/CD, designing effective branching strategies, ensuring efficient and automated deployments, and maintaining version control.
The role involves coordinating with DevOps and infrastructure teams, establishing DevOps best practices, collaborating with QA teams, and identifying potential risks in the release cycle.
The candidate will work closely with product managers, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and maintain detailed documentation of the release process.
Monitoring processes will be established to provide regular updates on release performance, deployment metrics, and pipeline efficiency.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Salesforce release management or DevOps roles, with hands-on expertise using Copado and other CI/CD tools is required.
At least 1+ years of hands-on experience with Copado is mandatory.
A strong understanding of Salesforce development processes, metadata management, and deployment strategies is essential.
Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines specifically for Salesforce environments is necessary.
Proficiency in Git and experience in implementing branching strategies are required.
Experience in automating deployment processes and creating robust, scalable pipelines is expected.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and proactive issue resolution are important.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, are essential.
