Description:

The position is for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Developer in Colombia, working full-time in an experienced role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to understand complex email structures and responsive templates across any email platform.
Responsibilities include building and deploying marketing emails and push notifications in SFMC, collaborating with various stakeholders to plan email optimizations, and working with the internal design team on accessible email structure and design.
The developer will create and maintain technical documents for complex emails, manage all aspects of the Email Platform functionality, and participate in code reviews and QA of email builds.
The role requires evolving and improving email processes for development and QA, as well as evaluating and improving the QA process with stakeholders.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience hand-coding complex email templates in SFMC, Exact Target, or an equivalent Email Service Provider (ESP).
Expert knowledge in CSS/HTML is required, along with proficiency in SQL and AMPscript/JavaScript.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills are essential, as well as an understanding of end-to-end testing and QA best practices.
Proficiency with design formats in Figma, Photoshop, or Illustrator, and the ability to slice images is necessary.
Candidates should be self-starters, detail-oriented, and possess very good cross-functional communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with productivity tools like JIRA and Asana, as well as tools like Litmus or Email on Acid, is required.
A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification, Scrum/Agile experience, and database and segmentation experience are considered a plus.
