Description:
Open Philanthropy is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect and Senior Administrator to work remotely on a full-time basis.
The role involves designing and building complex Salesforce solutions, demonstrating expert understanding of platform capabilities and limitations.
Responsibilities include making informed decisions on solution trade-offs, developing custom solutions using Apex, SOQL, and potentially Lightning Web Components and Visualforce.
The candidate will lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders, collaborate with business analysts, and implement DevOps best practices.
The position also includes mentoring junior team members, managing Salesforce features and third-party tools, and overseeing user support functions.
The candidate will lead Salesforce-adjacent projects, define project scope, allocate engineering capacity, and implement agile methodologies.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Salesforce administration and development, with a strong background in solution architecture and technical project management.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.
Proficiency in Apex and SOQL is required, with experience in Lightning Web Components and Visualforce considered a plus.
A strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and design patterns is necessary.
Experience with DevOps practices in a Salesforce context is required.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application in Salesforce projects is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are crucial.
A track record of successful project delivery in complex Salesforce environments is expected.
Candidates should have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., System Architect, Application Architect, or developer certifications) are a plus.
Philanthropic and/or nonprofit experience is also a plus.
Benefits:
The compensation for this role ranges from $160,000 to $190,000, including a base salary of $137,000 to $167,000 and an unconditional 401(k) grant of $23,000.
