Description:

  • PingWind is seeking a Salesforce Architect to support the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) contract work.
  • The Salesforce Architect must design, develop, and articulate solutions based on strategic business and technical requirements.
  • The role involves working with program managers, technical leads, and clients to ensure appropriate Salesforce solutions.
  • Candidates must have hands-on and progressive experience in performing customizations, configurations, and integration of the Salesforce platform.
  • The ideal candidate will have a good foundation in Salesforce and demonstrate a willingness to learn new offerings and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • The candidate will provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team and be capable of leading a technical team.
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential to effectively share knowledge with team members.
  • The role is fully remote.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering from an accredited college or university is required; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least ten (10) years of related experience is required; twelve (12) years is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (6) years of Salesforce experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management are necessary.
  • Solution Architect experience on implementation projects using Agile approaches is required.
  • Federal Salesforce implementation experience is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, declarative capabilities, platform configuration, and related limits is essential.
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party solutions using industry-standard techniques like REST and using integration tools like MuleSoft is required.
  • Supervisory experience in leading Salesforce developers is necessary.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Technical Architect, or System Architect certification is required.
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
