Description:
PingWind is seeking a Salesforce Architect to support the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) contract work.
The Salesforce Architect must design, develop, and articulate solutions based on strategic business and technical requirements.
The role involves working with program managers, technical leads, and clients to ensure appropriate Salesforce solutions.
Candidates must have hands-on and progressive experience in performing customizations, configurations, and integration of the Salesforce platform.
The ideal candidate will have a good foundation in Salesforce and demonstrate a willingness to learn new offerings and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate will provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team and be capable of leading a technical team.
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential to effectively share knowledge with team members.
The role is fully remote.
Responsibilities include meeting with stakeholders to understand requirements, architecting and customizing Salesforce applications, demonstrating knowledge in implementing large-scale enterprise solutions, and leading a team of Salesforce developers.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering from an accredited college or university is required; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
At least ten (10) years of related experience is required; twelve (12) years is preferred.
A minimum of five (6) years of Salesforce experience is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management, are necessary.
Solution Architect experience on implementation projects using Agile approaches is required.
Federal Salesforce implementation experience is preferred.
A strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, declarative capabilities, platform configuration, and related limits is essential.
Experience integrating with third-party solutions using industry-standard techniques like REST and using integration tools like MuleSoft is required.
Supervisory experience in leading Salesforce developers is necessary.
Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Technical Architect, or System Architect certification is required.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
