Remote SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Developer

Description:

• The position is for an SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Developer based in the Philippines, working remotely on UAE time zone.
• The client is located in Dubai, and the mission duration is until the end of August.
• Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications and modules to align with business requirements and project goals.
• The developer will customize and extend Hybris features such as product catalogs, promotions, cart and checkout processes, order management, and customer account management.
• Integration of third-party systems, including payment gateways and external services, is required.
• The role involves implementing multiple payment options, including payment gateways, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay.
• Collaboration with the team to design and implement user-friendly, responsive, and scalable solutions that adhere to best practices in SAP Commerce is essential.
• The developer must write clean, reusable, and efficient code, and conduct unit tests to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues within Hybris applications and identifying improvements to enhance overall performance and user experience are part of the responsibilities.
• Participation in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining code quality standards is expected.
• The developer will contribute to technical documentation for both internal teams and clients.
• Working with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications is also required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in SAP Hybris development and implementation.
• Proven experience in implementing multiple payment methods, including payment gateways, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay, in e-commerce platforms is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, including developing, customizing, and deploying solutions with B2B/B2C functionality, is essential.
• A solid understanding of e-commerce processes, such as product catalog management, promotions, pricing, checkout, and order management, is required.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework is necessary, along with familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and development in Agile environments is required.
