Description:
We are seeking a Data Intelligence Scientist to join the Therapeutic Data Intelligence vertical of our Customer Therapeutics (CT) Team.
This position is remote and reports to the Customer Therapeutics Lead - Therapeutic Data Intelligence.
The role focuses on empowering client success through high-quality, customer-centric data insights.
You will collaborate closely with professionals including Scientists, Scientific Liaisons, and teams from Go-To-Market, Product, Data, and Discovery.
The role is pivotal in supporting customers in their therapeutic discovery by identifying and addressing data gaps, refining data quality, and leveraging data-driven insights for strategic decision making.
Responsibilities include analyzing customer data and internal datasets to identify gaps, trends, and quality issues, and translating these findings into actionable insights.
You will conduct routine data quality assessments across Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and proactively identify areas for improvement.
The position involves working with internal teams to maintain high standards for data quality and collaborating with cross-functional partners to enhance data solutions.
You will support the integration of new data sources and participate in projects focused on addressing data gaps.
The role requires conducting assessments at the therapeutic area level to evaluate data health and coverage, providing recommendations for roadmap development.
Requirements:
A PhD or MSc in Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, and R is necessary, with a demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data quality assessment, or data integration, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, is required.
A strong understanding of therapeutic areas and therapeutic data intelligence is essential.
Experience with data curation, quality control, and establishing best practices for data integrity is necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail is essential.
High levels of organization, time management, project management, and attention to detail are required.
