Description:

  • TriTech is seeking a "Security Architect" to support a federal client remotely.
  • The Security Architect will serve as the IRS key Point-of-Contact for security-related decisions.
  • The role involves driving the remediation of security vulnerabilities proactively based on security scanning reports.
  • The Security Architect will make recommendations for increasing MeF DevSecOps maturity.
  • The position includes providing guidance related to the Portal, which hosts several MeF applications.
  • MeF is a platform for electronically filing returns with the IRS, providing SOA-based web services and web applications for IRS users.
  • Primary duties include developing and extending MeF security solution architectures (25%), providing recommendations for migrating MeF to containers and the Cloud (25%), coordinating team activities related to security vulnerability remediation (15%), attending meetings and providing recommendations related to the Portal (15%), maintaining contractual deliverables (10%), providing LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs (5%), and recommending DevSecOps practices on MeF (5%).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience developing security architectures for large, complex programs in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • At least 8 years of experience in leading teams of architects and/or developers.
  • Strong customer communication skills, both oral and written, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing security architecture for applications running in the Cloud.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing security architecture for applications running in containers.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing security solutions for AWS GovCloud.
  • At least 4 years of experience with microservices security.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience architecting Spring Boot applications.
  • At least 4 years of experience enhancing Portal architectures.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing DevSecOps solutions on complex projects.
  • At least 4 years of experience with the Linux platform.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with CM tools, such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work.
  • CISSP Certification is required.
