Zeller is seeking an experienced and innovative Security Architect with a strong focus on Corporate Security and Application Security strategies, particularly within AWS environments.
The role involves enhancing and maintaining the security of AWS infrastructure and services while ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, designing secure solutions for applications, and leading the technical direction for AWS security.
The Security Architect will manage critical aspects such as network security, data protection, vulnerability management, and encryption/certificate management.
Automation will be a central aspect of the role, advocating for and implementing best practices.
Key responsibilities include providing guidance and mentorship to security engineers, leading tool selection and optimization, aligning security strategies with business objectives, and developing security policies and procedures.
The role also involves designing a robust observability strategy for security, driving continuous improvement in security processes, overseeing incident response and risk management, and ensuring adherence to security governance frameworks.
Regular communication of security strategies, status, and risks to stakeholders is essential.

Requirements:

Extensive experience as a Security Architect or Cloud Security Architect with a strong focus on AWS environments and security practices is required.
Proven ability to mentor security engineers in best practices, industry standards, and the latest security tools and methodologies is essential.
Expertise in evaluating, selecting, and optimizing security tools to align with business goals is necessary.
Experience in automation, reporting, and full lifecycle management of security tools and frameworks is required.
Skill in aligning security strategies with business objectives to support organizational growth and resilience is needed.
Proficiency in developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures that integrate with existing operations is essential.
Experience in designing observability strategies for security and driving continuous improvement is required.
Strong capability in overseeing incident response and risk management processes is necessary.
Knowledge of security governance frameworks and the ability to balance robust controls with business efficiency is essential.
Excellent communication skills to convey security strategies, risks, and statuses to stakeholders are required.
Experience in designing and implementing multi-cloud and multi-region security architectures is necessary.
