Description:

Filevine is seeking a Security Architect to join their Information Security team to ensure compliance and security of their platform, applications, and infrastructure.
The role involves providing security architectural reviews of development projects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and specifying minimum security requirements.
Responsibilities include conducting security reviews and recommendations for SAAS and desktop applications, enhancing security on new products, and improving monitoring capabilities for cloud environments.
The Security Architect will strategize goals to secure cloud environments and applications, investigate security incidents, and install security measures to protect systems and information infrastructure.
The position requires documenting best practice architecture designs and working with internal teams to uncover network vulnerabilities and remediate detected issues.
Staying current on cloud security standards and developing company-wide best practices for cloud security is essential.
The role also involves researching security enhancements and making recommendations to management.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in information technology/security with an emphasis on network security, and a BS/MS degree in a technical field is considered supplementary experience.
Experience in strategizing and outlining goals for securing cloud environments and applications is required.
Candidates should have a strong history in advising and executing security architecture design and assessments, with familiarity in designing secure enterprise cloud networks.
Significant experience with SIEM, logging technologies, threat hunting practices, and SOAR platforms is necessary.
Experience with cloud hardening best practices and executing/defending network penetration tests is required.
Security architectural experience with at least two cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Heroku, Azure) is essential.
Candidates should have experience with container security for Windows & Linux, and knowledge of security requirements for SOC 2 Type I & II, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and CJIS.
Strong project management experience, curiosity, initiative, and willingness to experiment are important.
Experience with scripting and development languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C++) is a plus.
