Description:
HighLevel is seeking an experienced Security Architect / SecDevOps Specialist to design and implement secure systems and applications.
The role involves integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and supporting security incidents.
Responsibilities include designing secure architecture for systems, platforms, and applications, developing security standards, conducting security architecture reviews, and implementing security tools in the CI/CD pipeline.
The candidate will lead application security incident response efforts and collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.
Staying updated with emerging security technologies and threats is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 8+ years of experience in application security or secure software development.
Expertise in container security and strong knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) is essential.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes is necessary.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Go, is required.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies is important.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
A Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in Cloud Security, Container Security, and ethical hacking are advantageous.
Experience with automated security testing tools and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is also desired.
