Description:

  • HighLevel is seeking an experienced Security Architect / SecDevOps Specialist to design and implement secure systems and applications.
  • The role involves integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and supporting security incidents.
  • Responsibilities include designing secure architecture for systems, platforms, and applications, developing security standards, conducting security architecture reviews, and implementing security tools in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • The candidate will lead application security incident response efforts and collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.
  • Staying updated with emerging security technologies and threats is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • The candidate must have 8+ years of experience in application security or secure software development.
  • Expertise in container security and strong knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) is essential.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes is necessary.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Go, is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies is important.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
  • A Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Cloud Security, Container Security, and ethical hacking are advantageous.
  • Experience with automated security testing tools and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is also desired.
