Description:
Celonis is seeking a Security Automation Engineer to join their Security Engineering Organization in Munich, Germany.
The role involves working directly with the cloud platform to engineer the next generation platform infrastructure stack.
Responsibilities include improving the security posture of Celonis’s Platform Infrastructure, designing and deploying automation at scale, and enhancing monitoring and alerting systems.
The engineer will identify areas for cloud security improvement and collaborate with the infrastructure team as a subject matter expert on Infrastructure & Cloud Security.
The position requires collaboration with Security and Engineering teams to apply strong security controls and mitigate risks.
The engineer will also implement technical prototypes to understand new technologies and manage risks for active development projects.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cyber Security, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a similar field is required, along with 2+ years of experience in security.
Candidates must have 2+ years of software development and/or security engineering experience.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Terraform is necessary.
A solid understanding of building and operating secure systems at scale is required.
Experience with multi-cloud environments, container deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes orchestration is essential.
Significant technical exposure to AWS, GCP, and Azure services and security controls is required.
