Remote Security Data Integration Engineer

• The company is seeking a passionate and driven Alliance Integration Engineer to enhance integration capabilities of their Network Detection and Response (NDR) sensors for data export into Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, particularly Splunk.
• Key responsibilities include developing integration solutions for sensor data export, designing custom dashboards and workflows, engaging in application development for SIEM systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing external contractors, maintaining knowledge of SIEM technologies, providing technical guidance, and influencing the product roadmap.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Proven experience in SIEM integration, preferably with Splunk, is necessary.
• Strong development skills in languages and tools supported by Splunk, such as Java, Python, and Splunk Query Language, are essential.
• A solid understanding of data visualization and the creation of interactive dashboards is required.
• Familiarity with networking and security concepts, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Network Security Monitoring (NSM), and cybersecurity attack techniques is important.
• Experience with common security workflows and processes, especially related to network traffic and detection, is needed.
• Knowledge of the security application and technology integration landscape across various technologies, including SIEM, XDR, and SOAR, is required.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong customer focus are essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are necessary.
