The company is seeking a talented Security Developer/Researcher to join the Imunify team.
Imunify Security is an AI-powered security solution designed for Linux web servers, specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers.
The role involves analyzing vulnerabilities and threats, backporting patches, and expanding coverage for supported applications and plugins.
Responsibilities include analyzing new security vulnerabilities in open-source PHP and JavaScript applications, backporting upstream patches, designing and deploying new features for internal tooling, researching exploitation techniques, and increasing coverage of supported applications.

Requirements:

Candidates should have good knowledge of JavaScript and PHP, or at least one of them.
Experience with a scripting language such as Python is required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer in Test, Security Researcher, or a similar role is necessary.
The candidate must be security-oriented, focusing on vulnerability research in JavaScript and PHP applications.
Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose is essential, including the ability to spin up multiple containers and test across different PHP versions.
An upper-intermediate or higher level of English is required.
Nice to have: Understanding of the security vulnerabilities life cycle and good Linux knowledge.
