Description:
Celonis is seeking a Software Security Engineer to join their Information Security organization in Munich, Germany.
The Global information security organization is responsible for security and trust, continuously monitoring the global security posture and adapting to the threat landscape.
The Security Engineering Team is looking for experts in application, platform, and offensive security.
As a Security Engineer, you will work closely with the application and platform security team to ensure security is integrated into every part of the Celonis ecosystem.
You will engineer and develop software and automation to proactively build secure by default controls.
The role involves driving a “Paved Road” approach to security, providing teams with resources to make good security decisions and ship software quickly and safely.
Responsibilities include building a security paved road for developers, championing product security, automating security tools and processes, and defining security design patterns.
Requirements:
A BA/BS in computer science, information security, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of full-time security engineering or information security experience is required.
At least 3 years of experience in software development, ideally in automating tools and processes, is preferred.
Fluency with the OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25 programming errors, and other common vulnerabilities and exploit techniques is necessary.
Proven experience in defining appropriate security controls and countermeasures is required.
Experience in building and championing security engineering best practices is essential.
A creative and flexible approach to security problems that considers the entire stack is needed.
Software engineering experience with the ability to write robust code with good test coverage is required.
