The Security Engineer will enhance detection and response capabilities within the growing Security team.
The role involves implementing, monitoring, and improving security detection tools and incident response processes.
The engineer will identify and respond to security threats across Multi Media’s information security program, including corporate environments, public cloud assets, products, and customer data.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining security detection tools, developing monitoring rules, conducting triage of security alerts, participating in incident response activities, and performing threat hunting.
The engineer will collaborate with other security team members and engineering teams to implement security improvements based on incident findings and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role focused on security monitoring, detection, and incident response.
Experience with cloud security monitoring and incident response in platforms like GCP or AWS is required.
A solid understanding of security monitoring principles and best practices is necessary.
Familiarity with security detection technologies, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and SOAR is essential.
Knowledge of incident response processes and methodologies is required.
Candidates should possess scripting skills for automation and analysis, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
An understanding of network protocols and security concepts is necessary.
A proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks is expected.
Bonus points for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, relevant security certifications, and knowledge of Kill Chain frameworks.
