Remote Security Engineer

Description:

• M1 is seeking a versatile Security Engineer to join their Information Security team.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, understanding of software systems, willingness to learn new tools and concepts, effective collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to lead and execute projects independently.
• The role focuses on operational aspects and activities of the security program, with opportunities to enhance and shape the program through automation.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to design and implement security solutions, participating in incident response and investigations, conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans, maintaining security policies and procedures, and working on automation of existing systems and processes.
• The position offers the chance to grow alongside a dedicated team of engineers.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Familiarity with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common exploit tools and methods.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization best practices, data security best practices, and cloud security controls.
• Proven track record of positively contributing to a collaborative team in a remote environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and growth-minded.
