Description:

Loadsmart is a hyper-growth logistics tech company valued at over $1 billion, seeking a part-time Security Engineer for a 12-month project, with the possibility of extension.
The role involves ensuring the safety and compliance of applications and networks while collaborating with engineering squads across product and platform engineering.
Responsibilities include assisting the Vulnerability Management program, maintaining the security pipeline for the Software Development Life Cycle, and supporting security tests such as pentesting.
The Security Engineer will collaborate with the Blue Team to enhance monitoring and alerting rules, test for security vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
The position requires interaction with various teams to prioritize actions and mitigate risks, as well as developing tools to automate assessments and validations.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in Application Security or Vulnerability Management.
Good communication skills in English are required, with comfort in conversing with native English speakers daily.
Familiarity with security tools and Vulnerability Management programs is essential.
A solid understanding of vulnerabilities and the ability to establish possible mitigations is necessary.
Experience working with methodologies and standards such as CIS, NIST, Mitre ATT&CK, and OWASP (including Top 10, Top 10 API, Top 10 Mobile, WSTG, MSTG, ASVS, and MASVS) is required.
Candidates should have experience in automating tasks to support security tests.
